“Sam and I met on our missions but never talked to each other! Maybe once in passing! He came back home then I came home 6 months later and we had a marketing class together! We went on a first date shortly after and from then we were hooked haha! Our first date was so great, we both felt like we knew each other for ages and felt so comfortable around each other. We could not leave each other’s sides! We still can’t haha! After about 10 months of dating, he proposed on October 6th at a cute park with tons of trails, one of which led to a blanket and candles set up and the ring!” -Valerie
